The media could not be loaded. I spent several months reviewing all compatible Internal SSD Hard Drive for my PS5. There were a few key players that are PS5 approved and others whereby their was no Heatsink or the Read Speed and Max Speed was lagging. After all my research and looking at so many different online articles, I opted to go with the Samsung PRO 980 SSD. There are favorable reviews on this SSD and so far, I am quite satisfied. It has read speeds of up to 7,000 MB/s, and sequential write speeds of up to 5,000 MB/s. Installing this into my PS5 was quick and easy. I had a read speed of 6494 MB/s. To test, it took 17 seconds to transfer Gotham Knights over which was 43.52 GB. The performance is remarkable. I was able to transfer games stored on my internal drive for my PS5 within seconds. Amazing. Plus, I got this as a Black Friday special and I couldn't be happier with the price and performance. I would opt for 2TB because the price difference between 1TB and 2TB isn't that much. Better off getting more storage. A must buy for those looking to expand their storage capacity for their PS5.

Used it for close to 2 years now, no issues, blazing fast, and basically if you need an NVMe, you gonna get this anyways, nuff said.
