Nothing can kill this bad boy! Powerfull more than we need, reliable and i mean its a full modular so super easy to use.

I've built 3 different systems with totally different components ranging up to a RTX 4090/Intel 14700K PC and its been a flawless experience with my HX 1000 powering them. I love that its so solid its the last thing I have to think of when I'm troubleshooting any instabilities due to an overclock. I can't even hear it at 3 feet from me. I bought the HX1000 non i back in NOV '22 so its no longer being made I think. I was able to get mine for $205 USD black Friday deal. Corsair killed it with this PSU.

Runs my desktop with a Ryzen 7 5800X3d, Nvidia RTX 4080, 280mm liquid CPU cooler, 6 case fans, 4 Nvme SSDs, 64 GB of RAM and case lights with ease. Fan is quiet and I hear nothing that others refer to as coil whine. Only thing is that it doesn't have the new 12 volt connector that is used on the Nvidia high end cards so you will need an adapter, which may not be a bad thing if your connector fails on your GPU, at least you will only have to replace the adapter harness if it damages the harness connector plug.

No problem. Installed upside down like 90% of you are going to do and the letters for where you attach the modular cables to the block , are already upside down so they are the right way lol. Its corsair and this is my second system to use these. I had all the cables needed for Mother Board, mother board 8 pin. 7900XTX 7800X3d and and so on. no issues and might be overkill but power is delivery is not where I will not cheap out and will get something well rated above what my system will pull.

The media could not be loaded. I finally pulled the trigger on one of these, after seeing them for years and years and years. My 1,000 watt EVGA power supply has finally kicked the bucket and can no longer provide the 900 watts I need. I got this thing, and immediately was disappointed in the PCIe cables being the 6 + 2 style rather than the full 8. Then when I tried to install it onto my motherboard, I realized whoever built these cables used 3 in of heat shrink, with the super thick glue inside. There is no movement at all in these cables, effectively making all of the included cables useless. Which means I cannot use this unless I spend hundreds on new aftermarket cables. No. Otherwise everything seems great, I powered it on the bench, and it had no problem powering my 15 drives, 3090, 13900K, and 6400 megahertz XMP DDR5. I would recommend this if it was cheaper, and didn't come with the absolutely garbage cables. If you don't have other cables, I strongly recommend against this.
