I like the unit, it unfortunately didn't fix my issue...is is with my laptop. Still using it for other purposes

I honestly am a little confused and upset. First off, why is an msi dock not compatible with an msi laptop? Poor planning on that end in my opinion, especially if you want loyal customers. Secondly, they don't provide anything compatible for my "MSI" laptop. I personally like to match products with each other and that is not possible here. And lastly, there is no specifications on what computers/laptops that this is compatible with. With this product being over $100 dollars I'd think you'd want to let people know which systems are compatible. I'm definitely returning this product and honestly most likely steering away from MSI from now on. Tech service is crap, products don't have specifications on compatibility and just all around disappointing. Look somewhere else for a dock👌

I have a MSI GS76 Stealth and I was hoping to reduce the cable hell associated with using it as my home and travel PC. I purchased this dock thinking that it would charge my laptop via USB-C, the docking station says that if my laptop has the feature, which my laptop documentation says it does, that this will "slow charge" my laptop. It does not, not a drop of power, so I still have to break the brick out of my bag and use it for power. -1 for the docking station. I have a Dell 49inch Extrawide monitor that I run at 5120x1440 resolution. The Laptop handles this monitor fine using HDMI. Connecting the monitor to the docking station via HDMI causes the monitor to flicker off and on about once a minute, I dont think the USB-C has enough bandwidth to handle this throughput. I did not try using 2 smaller additional monitors, such as 2x27inch monitors, but I assume this also would not be a great experience -1 for the docking station The nail in the coffin for this docking station was the price to benefit ratio. It was way too expensive to function as a USB hub, so I had to send it back. I love MSI, but the specs on this device should be better communicated.

Overall it is a nice looking and easy to use docking station. Charges and well and good enough amount of ports. I have had issues with this docking station, screens would flicker on and off. When using 2 monitors, one would work and one would go off. Single 4k monitor it appears to flicker on and off randomly. Not sure if it is underpowered for my MSI WS76. Would love it if it worked seamlessly.
