Been through many keyboards, large, small, usb, wireless, ergonomic, standard, etc. And this wireless, Adesso 3150 fits me perfectly. Have been using it exclusively for the last couple of years. I may have to sit at my computer 8 to 10 hours a day and if I have to continually go back and forth with my arm from the keyboard to a mouse, my arm is pretty worn out by the end of the day. But with the layout of this Adesso, I barely have to move my arm/hand to type, scroll, select, and click. I scroll simply by keeping my hands in the "home" position and using either thumb. If the application I'm using requires and lot of scrolling and moving the screen "cursor" a lot, e.g., the internet (Amazon, etc.), I'll keep my left hand in the "home" position and move my right hand down about an inch to use the trackball with my middle finger, left click with my forefinger, and right click with my fourth finger. All in all very little, if any, movement at all of my left arm and only minimal movement of my right arm. It's quiet and comfortable for as long as I'm using it. No other keyboard that I've tried (many) or viewed comes even close to matching this Adesso 3150 with respect to these ergonomic features. And that includes other offerings from Adesso. The two Triple A batteries required may last anywhere from 4 to 10 months from my experience. I never turn the keyboard off unless changing the batteries or cleaning the trackball (which I may do once a year). I like a steeper slant to the keyboard and purchased an ESC Flip Keyboard stand which I attached to the keyboard bottom that provides this. Initially, the track ball is not quite as responsive as a mouse but with use, it comes to match it. All in all, I recommend it highly.

{Update in August 2023... With the refunded money I bought a wired version of a similar keyboard. It's in Japanese by Sanwa Supply SKB-ERG5BK, SO I added my own keyboard stickers and now it's English. Happy solution 😊} 🕰️PREVIOUSLY:- Sadly, 🥲I had to send this keyboard back. The Adesso WKB-3150UB was everything I wanted and needed in a keyboard and using it was a pleasure💥 till the USB Receiver died after about 6 months. At first I tried to get a new receiver sent from Adesso. They only cost $13.00US. Downside? Postage to Australia was going to cost $50.00US. That translated to $95.00AU all up. Having alraedy paid $142.00AU for the keyboard, I simply could not go that way, so contacted Customer Service who immediately arranged a Free Return for me via Parcel Point. HOWEVER, there is no Parcel Point operating locally, being regional, so I had to pay postage myself. That cost $49.70AU, which was promptly Refunded by Amazon. Then Adesso refunded me in full for the keyboard. So, Amazon and Adesso are both OKAY in my books🙂, but I won't be buying another Wireless keyboard. I have dug up my tonka-tuff old Compaq PS/2 keyboard with USB adapter. It also has a conveniently centre bottom positioned trackball and will do me fine though lacking a Windows key and Scroll wheel. If you have a setup that allows for a tidy enough wired keyboard, I reckon that's the safest way.

This is a very good keyboard & trackball solution. The keyboard is good quality - the keys are light, soft, don't wobble or make undue noise. The lettering is large, high contrast and easy to see. The trackball is very smooth and removable for cleaning. The scroll wheel is a very nice touch. Overall, I am very satisfied. Although the keyboard is a bit expensive, I still feel it's good value for money. I cannot comment about durability yet, as I've only had it for a few weeks. My only minor gripe is that the keyboard is using standard AAA batteries and has no built-in possibilities for recharging. But this is only a minor point. It does have a good life on one set of decent batteries (not the ones that come with it - those are rubbish). EDIT 4 months later: no issues with durability so far. Battery life is amazing! Still using the same pair of batteries that I put in four months ago, and I am using this keyboard at least five days a week! This keyboard may not be for everyone, but it works for me so well that I'm just about to order another because I found myself carrying it around to every computer that I use.

This is almost exactly what I was looking for. Small and compact for traveling, with a trackball so that I would not be dependent on a separate mouse. I wanted to give it 5 stars, but there's one (not so) little thing that bugs me. The mouse buttons straddle a huge trackball. I am right handed, and have to either pick up my hand and move it over the (very large) trackball, or use my left hand to click the left mouse button (which is feels awkward). Since the keyboard is designed to keep your hands away from each other, this does not make sense to me. If you have to use both hands to control the mouse, then one hand should control both buttons, and the other hand the movement. I've used other keyboards where the mouse straddled the trackball, but usually, its a small trackball and you use the same hand that you are moving the trackball with to click the buttons. This one just feels wrong. The ball is too big to have to leap frog it to click the left mouse button. Don't get me wrong, I like the big ball. Pros ... - small and compact - has a light for caps lock - page up/down keys do not require you to hold down function key - has mouse scroll button Cons ... - mouse buttons straddle trackball - awkward to use - keyboard is somewhat heavy for its size - no num lock (at least I don't see it, and the keys are not marked). I don't care about this but others might. I have considered sending it back, but I'm going to keep this keyboard, I really like it - just hoping I can adjust to the mouse buttons.
