Easy setup, but may need duct tape!

My husband decided to connect his laptop to a monitor, and being the IT person in the family, I chose this for him since two of his requirements were the size and the ability to adjust the height, as it would be sitting on his desk. He loves the size (personally, I prefer the 24" size I use, but that's a matter of personal preference). The display is clear and required no adjustments after connecting (his Dell Inspiron 17 5000 laptop is optimized @ 1920 x 1080p). However, maintaining the height adjustment was another matter. The tiny picture instruction for locking & unlocking the height adjustment was a joke, and he turned the "key" in all directions but could never get it to hold the monitor at the selected height. That's where the duct tape comes in - I wrapped some around the stand so that the monitor cannot slide down and it works great. Life is too short to waste on mickey mouse "instructions"!

Great monitor

Bought it for my wife as she is working from home and needs multiple screens. Super happy with the monitor. Everything is working well so far. I would recommend it.

I chose a ViewSonic monitor because my last monitor was a ViewSonic monitor that my son had given to me about 12 years ago, after he had used it for several years beforehand. He was upgrading to a larger ViewSonic monitor. The only reason that I wanted a new monitor was to have a bigger screen. So I've passed my older version ViewSonic monitor onto a friend. It still works wonderfully. My new larger ViewSonic was delivered on time; packaged to withstand shipping; easy to set up; beautiful vivid colour; stylish. I look forward to many years of reliability because, ViewSonic has already proven it's quality and longevity to me and to my family. Thank you.
