It should have been made very clear in the ad for it that the OS does NOT support any Google or Play Store conrent!

If you don't set it up correctly you'll never get it to work.

I had this thing for a weekend, in hopes of helping my wife's workspace and giving her a touchscreen tablet to work with. It's not something you'd use as an "iPad" but more along the lines of "POS terminal". We began the setup sequence, something didn't work right and we started over with a factory reset. And from there, we couldn't get anything to work so we sent it back and ended up buying a small flatscreen TV to help gussy up her space, albeit no touchscreen.

can't install any apps or stream shows

This unit comes with Zoom, a weird app store and the Chromium browser. The app store shows a lot of apps, but you can't actually install them - it just sits there hanging. I spent a good Saturday trying to googleify the tablet but I guess Google Play Services is just not supported on this device... It *should* be possible, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to do it. You might be able to hand install some useful APKs, but its a pretty clunky endeavor. This thing is pretty much a brick. I was hoping you might be able to stream using the Chromium browser - but no protected content. Had to send this back. Its a shame because the hardware is a pretty good deal for the price, just the software is broken.

Movie viewer

Got this to watch movies in my van. It's heavy and solid and works great. Also, no battery, so closer to a smart TV than to a tablet. It's more flexible than a typical smart TV due to Android. I use strong Bluetooth speakers instead of the dubious built in sound and a wireless USB mouse to control it. It's perfect for it's role, here. Most folks probably don't need this, so I'm surprised to find this unit on the market.
