I had an eero mesh setup, I thought it was ideal for larger spaces, but I found that one router with better range and signal does a better job. The most noticeable thing was playing Playstation Portal on my home network. This handled it with ease, where my eero would be choppy. Gives a great signal upstairs and on the opposite end of the house. The next best thing to wired.

I bought this Asus router so I could have a little more control of my internet, with amazing speeds and wifi range. I have a Xbox one x in my living room that was super slow and lagging when playing COD. It now runs faster, though Microsoft has slowed the speeds of the Xbox one x it still is better on this router than before with my rogers modem. The range is really great as well, I was going to get wifi extenders before I purchased this router from Asus. Now I don’t have to, since the range is incredible. I definitely recommend this router to anyone in the market for one. Very pleased with how great this router is, and looks cool!

Decided to go Wifi 6E for a few years instead of waiting for Wifi 7 This router treats me like royalty. Steady connections for loads of device, guest networks on isolated VLANs, better single source signal vs some mesh setups I've tried Amazing. Will upgrade to the wifi 7 option a few years down the line

This is the best Router, that I have ever owned, and I have owned many Routers in the last 25 years or so. This Router is an overkill for my needs, it's more a gaming Router, but I figured a gaming router would be just perfect in terms of home performance. I wasn't wrong about that. The built and performance is solid. the Wi-Fi is also great. It's not a cheap Router but worth the money for it's performance. 👍👍

Very happy with this. I replaced an Asus AX-11000 as it only had a 1gig wan port. I needed a router with a 2.5gig port to allow me to take advantage of the 1.5gig Rogers Ignite speed. The funny thing is that I ran this router for a few days before the new internet speed kicked in and I went from 900 down to 1200 down, just by switching the router. Once the faster internet speed kicked in I was seeing 1800 down. Perfect. Beyond that, this router is like all the other Asus routers I've run before. Same interface as the AX-11000, good wifi reception and reliable. I know I dropped down from dual 5ghz channels on my AX-11000 to a single one, but for me it has made no difference. Speeds are just fine.
