NVR VIGI TP-LINK VIGI NVR1008H 08ch Non-PoE Bay 1HDD H265+

Hello everyone, I am facing issues with the after-sales service from TP-Link. I bought this device in October 2023 and suddenly it stopped working. I sent a mail for product replacement/repair to TP-Link. The discussion was started on 19th Jan 2024. They confirmed that once they receive the item, they will dispatch a replacement in 3-4 working days. I sent my device to them and they sent me an "item received" confirmation mail on 27th Jan 2024. But I am still waiting for the replacement. I am continuously following up with them, hope I will get it soon. Now, I have lost my trust in TP-Link. Think before you purchase any product from TP-Link. Hope this comment helps you guys. Thanks!

Got this for around 4.6k after discounts, at this price its a decent device. Many reviews and other documentation seem to imply that there is no web interface, but there is a web based interface available. I received the v2 hardware revision as expected which seem to support cameras upto 8 MP and more simultaneous viewing. I have ordered few VIGI IP cams which I'm yet to receive but I had a no-brand PTZ IP cam lying around, was able to add that cam to the NVR and it worked great. Even the PTZ functions worked as well. I haven't tried the desktop app, but the mobile app is simple and decent enough. Web interface also work decently, but there is certainly improvements that's necessary. Some PTZ functions do not work over the web UI for example.

Don't waste your money , buy elsewhere nothing but junk
