Noctua NH-U9S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-A9 92mm Fan (Brown) for Desktop

This Noctua NH-U9S premium CPU cooler is amazing. It works silently and reduces my CPU temperature, greatly improving its performance more faster and much stable.

Effectively reduces the CPU's temperature.....I haven't tested it while running several heavy programmes which produces more heat than usual in the CPU, so take this review with a grain of salt.....

My wife stumbled on Noctua fans a while back and after installing not one, not two, but 4 of their fans, I’m forever buying their products. Each fan came with everything you’d need. This particular one even came with extra thermal past and a small cable extension. 10/10. Real quiet too! Fantastic company.

My son's prebuilt Acer Nitro 50 N50-620-UA91 always had poor gaming cooling. Even under idle, the CPU was hotter than it should be if we wanted it to last. Red Dead Redemption 2 got the CPU up over 90c! CPU won't last long at that temp. Decided to change out the stock cooler (which is basically trash for a gaming PC) and changed to the Noctua NH-U9S. Glad I did. Please keep in mind that if you are changing to this CPU cooler, you will need to remove the proprietary motherboard to change out the CPU cooler mount to fit the one that comes with the Noctua. A tiny bit of a challenge, but well worth it. Changed out the stock for the Noctua and couldn't be happier. Went from 62c-67c idle temps to 30c-38c idle temps. As for gaming, the machine now runs at 59c-67c which is way down from 90c+ temps! I recommend this as a replacement for the Acer Nitro 50 N50-620-UA91. You will not be sorry!

Installed this CPU cooler to keep high temperaures under control in my Thermaltake Core V1 media PC. I originally had a Ryzen 2600 with the stock cooler and it would regularly push the upper 80s Celsius when running CPU intensive jobs. Replacing the stock cooler with the NH-U9S reduced max load CPU temps to about 62 C! Included brackets allowed for easy install on an ASROCK Fatal1ty B450 Mini-Itx mobo.
