Temperature, nvme card install and speeds working as designed so far. Had to go through a number of brands to find one with correct speed temperature and installation. This newer version is the way to go. Has LED light, built in thermal pad and rubber bumper for card, one screw installation, comes with screwdriver.

I've gotten some really good Vantec stuff over the last few years, and this enclosure is no exception. Very well made, and very fast with a good drive and machine/USB port to plug into. Minor quibble is that this should come with a USB-A adapter or USB-A to USB-C cable to connect to devices without a USB-C port. No stars removed for this because of how nicely made this is and how well it works. And how easy it was to install the drive. Take out one screw, lift up the panel, slide the drive's edge into the connector and lower it onto the rubber standoff, moving the standoff slightly so the drive fits onto the groove in the standoff. Peel the clear cover from the thermal foam and replace the top panel. That's it. - You can easily move the standoff without tools to another hole in the enclosure for different size NVME drives. And there's a screwdriver, extra screw and standoff in the package. Plug the drive into your computer, format it if needed and you're off and running. This will probably work best if your computer has USB 3.2 Gen2X2, but it should be downward compatible with older USB standards.
