Vantec NexStar JX, USB 3.2 Gen1x1, 3.5" or 2.5” SATA III HDD/SSD Drive Green Enclosure with eSATA (NST-358SU3-BK)

Very simple / fast to hookup and initiate operation. I needed this model to take advantage of the eSATA cable/connection. Not easy to find. The unit runs slightly warm but not hot. Feels like a sturdy and substantially constructed device. Hopefully it will last a long time.

SSD slides right in. All necessary cables included; instructions good.

Easy to install and works great. I am using it for my shaw PVR and have no problems with it .

Easy to use with a 6tb full size drive. I needed this because it actually had an e-sata port on the enclosure. Worked like a charm.

This was the only enclosure I could find to work with my Reolink NVR, which needs an ESATA connection to take advantage of the capacity expansion function via external HDD. I confirm that it works with the Reolink and it took approximately 10 seconds after everything was connected for the NVR to see the HDD. After recognizing, I formatted the HDD and immediately the NVR started using it to record security footage. Regarding durability, I cannot certify because I have not completed even 1 week of its installation. I hope it will last me many years along with the Reolink NVR.
