This backup camera worked well. During the day, it was very clear. However, it glared at night when a car approaches closely behind me. Without another car, the image was clear when backing up at night. It worked so well that I bought two, one for my car and the other for my truck. The camera did block out the lettering for "Arizona" at the top of the license plate. I have not been stopped so far. I find this a good product for the price.

It is a trash,only 3 months it’s broken! Don’t buy it!

I bought this backup camera 3 times from Amazon, 2 used and one brand new. I’m not gonna say anything about the first used one since I didn’t even receive it (it’s lost). The second used one I received had no charging cable for the backup camera. I could understand since it was a used, but I realized the backup camera was not even charging and it’s not pairing with the monitor. I still don’t know it was because an issue with wireless connection between the monitor and the camera or the battery was dead. So, I bought a brand new one this time and it seemed fine at the first time. But after 20 hours of charging, I noticed it was barely charged or maybe not charged. The monitor said the camera is low in battery in 30 seconds. Now I’m done with this product and will return it within few days. I hope the manufacturer see this review and inspect their products before they sell this product to public.

Would not work right out of the box. Sent back the same day. Junk

you don't have to worry about wiring it. easy installation. but my 2013 tacoma has license plate light next to the plate so at night all i see is two bright lights on the both sides :( picture quality is not good either. sometimes it is hard to see during the day time. the angle of view is low because it is mounted on the license plate. hard to tell how close you really are. thinking about returning this one :(
