Paired with Intel® Core™ i5-14600KF and G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series (Intel XMP 3.0) DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 7800MT/s for my nephew and he loves it. Lots of connection options and on board wifi (WIFI 7)makes it easier to connect to the house network. So far he is very happy with it. Next step is getting gen4 ssd since this board offers 4 M2 slots.

This MSI PRO Z790-A MAX is a solid choice. I popped it in my rig, and it just works, you know? Nothing too complicated. It handles my games and tasks incredibly well and I'm not breaking the bank. The lighter accents are a nice touch! Not the fanciest (with no RGB) but it's still cool. And all them ports and slots, they got you covered. If you want a reliable and straight-forward motherboard, this board is a safe bet. It won't make you shout from the rooftops, but it'll get the job done. Good stuff!

I have used the Gigabyte Auros for my last two builds and was going to do it again, but I had bad coil whine and heard it still exists on the Z790 generation too. My Dad had an old MSI motherboard that was rock solid, so once I saw this I jumped on it. This is paired with a 13700K and Corsair Dominator DDR5 6400 RAM. Plugged everything up and put XMP on and absolutely no issues booting right up. Amazing board!

I like the appearance of this motherboard. Can’t wait to install it once I received. It goes really well with my white build. Functioning good too!
