I have bought this one because all the previous devices (3 different manufacturers !) were getting hot, really hot.. you cannot keep it in your hands. This one is a bit better than all the other 3, in terms of temperature, the speed is the same as the others. The SFP+ to RJ45 adapter is still getting hot, I think in inherent to the technology. So active cooling is required for users of SFP+ to RJ45. The producers could implement a cooling system, a small thermal dissipation system for the home user.

The original delivery time was a number of weeks as it was from the other side of the planet :) Actual delivey was almost half the time and the item was in perfect condition

I’ve purchased a few of these adapters, they just do the job better than the compatible Options available. Maybe more expensive but no issues with my network compared to using compatibles
