Didn’t work with my new MacBook When I tried to connect via Bluetooth. It does work with my new iMac with the Wireless adapter adapter

I returned one in case it was defective but the replacement was the same. It isn't recognized on Bluetooth on my Macbook Pro 2011. Doesn't even appear in the dialog. My wife tested it on her new M1 Macbook Pro and it saw the mouse but nothing she could do got it to pair. I wrote the company and their response was to send Apple Help videos for pairing bluetooth. Its hard to believe that it doesn't work on Mac at all because it is advertised to and surely they have tested it on something, but here are two Mac's that can't find it, one old and one very new.
