Excelente para aprovechar viejos periféricos

Funciona bastante bien para poder seguir usando ratón de HP con conexión PS/2. Después de tantos años con un ratón con este tipo de entrada nos decidimos a comprar el adaptador porque funciona como el 1er. día y sin apenas desgaste de pintura. HP no defrauda (para el ratón).

This little connector is great. It's let me keep using my ancient PS/2 keyboard for the last several years. I've used the device on many different desktops and laptops. I've never had any problems with it. I've used this with Windows 10, 8, 7, and XP without issue. And although I've connected a mouse and keyboard successfully in the past, I use wireless mice now and so just use this device to hook up a keyboard. Also, I use keyboard shortcuts frequently, and have not noticed any lag, key dropping, or any issue with pressing simultaneous keys. In short: it does what it's made to do, and has lasted for several years. I forget that it's even there.

Mein etwas in die Jahre gekommener Barcode-Handscanner LP150 ließ sich nicht mit einem einfachen PS/2-USB-Adapter betreiben. Nach jedem Scan-Versuch reagierte der Scanner zwar mit einem Piep, stieg dann aber ohne Datenübermittlung bis zum nächsten PC-Neustart komplett aus. Nun habe ich den Scanner über den Manhattan Dual PS/2-Konverter am normalen USB 2.0 angeschlossen. Die Installation erwies sich als total einfach: Konverter an USB anschließen, Barcode-Scanner an die Tastatur-Buchse des Konverters und schon funktioniert alles einwandfrei. Windows 10 erkennt den Konverter ohne jegliche Treiber-Installation. Vermutlich ist der Chipsatz inzwischen bekannt. Im Gerätemanager erscheint der Scanner als USB-Eingabegerät.
