Got this for work and it's been great as an external display for my MacBook Pro. The USB-C connection for video while also acting as the charging cable works perfectly and I wouldn't get another monitor without it. To my disappointment, however, there is something loose inside of my monitor, possibly a screw. I noticed when I took it out of the box and while I was mounting it. It hasn't caused any issues that I can tell, but it is an unfortunate quality issue.

I vowed never to purchase another LG products again about 12 years ago after my expensive LG TV monitor began dropping reflector lens one day after the warranty ended. LG could care less and their response was too bad, so sad. (LGs product obsolescence). I needed to replace my computer monitor after 8 years and Amazon had a great price on this LG monitor. I did not want to purchase another LG product after my horrible experience with them in the past but I needed to replace my existing one quickly. LG continues, in my experience, to remain the leader when it comes to color details and expanse in their monitors and it does not disappoint. I absolutely love this monitor for those reasons and it makes my imagery use a joy. I am happy with the purchase but I am counting the days down to one year to see if this items dies after one years use like my last LG purchase.

Perfect monitor very easy to setup. I plugged my Mac mini into hdmi and bins a brand new computer I love the hire very clean and I love love love the lat y can adjust the height and it even tilts forward and backwards

No complaints here. I bought two of these to replace the old, blurry tvs my older kids were using for their computers. The quality is a huge improvement and the speakers aren't bad for built in monitor speakers. They got them for Christmas and still going strong (2 months of daily use so far). It's not the absolute top quality for a monitor, but unless you're a competitive gamer it's honestly pretty good.

This is a first impression review of LG's outstanding 27UP650K-W 27 inch monitor. Setup was easy, with a two piece stand assembling with a thumb screw type attachment and fixing to the back of the monitor with a simple place and click. The stand is height adjustable and moves smoothly. Two HDMI ports, a Display Port and an audio port are on the back, along with the power input port. A DP cable and HDMI cable are included and both are white to match the monitor. There is a plastic cord management clip also included. The power button is under the front middle of the bottom bezel. Instead of buttons, this monitor has a joystick control, which I typically don't like, but so far this seems responsive. My other monitor with this type of control takes a few seconds to respond and often has a default option set to do something other than turn the monitor on and off. A lot of the features this offers have to be individually tested, since your taste in video quality and mine probably differ. I don't usually care for HDR and don't usually pay for the highest quality video on paid streaming platforms, but this picture is so sharp and the colors so vivid that I might have to upgrade some of them. This monitor gives me a chance to revisit some of my own 4k videos and I found them to look better than on my usual 4k screen, which is a 50-inch TV, but some of the impact may be because I'm much closer to this screen when using it. This screen allows you to pick the best size text for your own vision, which might be the most compelling reason to purchase this. I know many people will look at this as a gaming monitor, but I think it's better for consuming content. This monitor has no built-in speakers, so you'll need to attach an external speaker and an audio cable is not included. The only other down side to this monitor is a couple of plastic parts and the lip service paid to cable management with a simple clip when the stand could have easily been designed to hide the cables with a simple channel down the back. I will update this first look with a long term review at some point, since this will replace my previous main monitor.
