The single power button under the centre of the screen seems ill places. It works, but the location is not intuitive. The power is provided by a power block at the plug. This is an unconventional setup, The picture is quite good but needs calibration out of the box. I’m using this as an external, extension of my laptop screen. In this configuration it is more than adequate.

Nice monitor with a built in USB-C dock (supplying 60W power for a laptop), built-in speakers, and a nice, bright, crisp display with good color representation and HDR. I got this as a replacement for the equivalent LG VA display (32UP550-W), which has the same features but was otherwise awful (washed out colors, poor viewing angle, which is really a problem at the edges of a large display), so I returned it. Totally worth the extra $30. I don't understand why they even make the VA version.

Great quality

This is my very first monitor of this calibre so I don’t know really what to compare it with. However I will I’ve been a graphic artist for many years and have did my work sitting front of some pretty atrocious monitors. Most likely there are much better 4K monitors out there but in my opinion, this does the job. Don’t order this with this idea in your mind that it’s going blow you away and presents images as vibrant and sharp as some of the tv’s you see down at your local BestBuy. It’s not that. I personally like this monitor, it has two hdmi inputs which can connect it to two different devices…and you are able switch between them with button on the bottom off the monitor. The control button was a little confusing at first, but I caught on to it. One thing to note when using 4K monitors with a Mac….the text will look really small. I use it at 1440, but switch to UHD when I need it. It’s easily adjustable (up and down). I can’t verify at this point how well it will stand the rest of time. If anything happens, I’ll come back revisit this review. If you’re a premadonna but cheap…don’t buy this monitor.

had this monitor 10 days ... very nice picture, no damage, all pixels seem to work... NO MANUAL ... PD only works when monitor is on, so forget charging your phone / laptop overnight... forget powering a SBC or other device 24/7.. OSD functionality is the best I've seen / got ... uses a joystick interface rather than the maddening multiple button interface.... glad I bought this one, so far.
