So the mouse is fine, even up to 8-10 feet away. But the keyboard doesn't work past about 3-4 ft away from the USB dongle. I think this is because it has a single AAA battery powering the whole keyboard. All my other wireless keyboards have 2 AA batteries and work fine 10 feet away. That being said, the keyboard feels cheap and junky. Something worse than any other keyboards (logitech, MS, or even generic ones) I've had. That's saying something. Look elsewhere for a quality wireless keyboard, forget about this one.

I have had several generic branded combos that look very similar, some ok and some not so much. I took this offer for the Lenovo branding as I do have more than one PC and devices that are excellent. This Lenovo 100 is a common simple three zone keyboard that work well and better than a few generics I have used. The keys have a really good touch that is not too soft and, for me at least, prevents some mistypes. It has a slight sound so you know you have hit the keys and the ergonomic pitch angle with the feet up is perfect for me. That said it does have glitches that would help if fixed. The numbers lock only stays on for a few seconds that leaves you not sure if it is on or not, especially as the numbers pad also serves as a left, right, up and down pad too. Another small item is that the combo uses two different batteries, AAA for the keyboard and AA for the mouse. Wrapping it up though it is the best of this type of keyboard and typing with it now it is my favorite for its user friendly no frills design.

I got this combo because I am about to get a second monitor for my desk and will be moving my laptop to a stand and will need a designated keyboard. I already had a wireless mouse and it's a good thing because I don't care for how loud this one is. It is very loud and I just don't care for it. It is comfortable in your hand but is more compact in size so may not be for everyone. The keyboard is good though which is what I like. It is pretty compact in size but with a full 10-keypad. The keys are very smooth and pretty quiet so I like it. My one functional complaint is that the reception of the dongle is very poor. I am currently using a docking station in a chair pushed under the table. I could not get the keyboard to connect at all and the mouse was very jerky and slow until I moved it directly to the laptop. It is a solid wood table but still only a few feet so I would expect it to work. If you plan on having the dongle connected in a cabinet or under a desk surface this may not work for you.

This a nice and smooth wireless keyboard. Definitely get the job done. Good movement when you write and type. The mouse move easy and nice.

The keyboard requires AAA batteries, while the mouse oddly uses AA batteries. The indicator lights for the caps lock key and num lock key on the keyboard are less than ideal; they briefly illuminate upon pressing but quickly dim, leaving you uncertain about the status of the key until you start typing. Additionally, the scroll lock indicator doesn't light up at all. The keyboard's ergonomics could be improved, as it tends to tilt downward when flat or tilt too high when the legs are extended. However, it is quiet to type on and suitable for short emails or brief tasks.
