Le disque dur, bien que placé dans un endroit ultra sécuritaire, a présenté des défaillances sous les 6 mois d'utilisation avec mes 20 To de précieuses données. Impossible de modifier des données et pour seule solution : devoir transférer ces données sur un autre disque dur de 20 To. Pas de solution de la part du SAV Amazon donc nécessité d'achat d'un second disque dur à mes frais...

Great back up drive with a heavy duty chassis.

I have a lot of data I don’t won’t to lose so using this as a backup drive is ideal. The light can be a problem when the computer is off the light still flashes but as I have the drive turned off mist of the time this does not bother me. The drive just works out of the box just plug it in and start putting stuff on it.

I purchased this Lacie D2 to provide external backup to a QNAP NAS. The read/write speeds are excellent for a single external HD no doubt large due to the fact that this unit has a 20 TB Seagate Ironwolf Pro HD. The Lacie d2 works perfectly, is quiet, and was an excellent choice for high capacity and high speed backup protection.
