Kensington Pro Fit Washable Wired Mouse (K70315WW)

Make sure you look closely at the layout of this keyboard before purchasing. Unfortunately, I didn’t do that, and now I’m returning it. Main “issues”. . . Right shift key – They made it half the size it should be, compared to other keyboards and the left shift key, and placed the backslash key next to it. This makes it a big pain when using the right shift key, and I frequently hit the backslash key and sometimes both the backslash and shift together. The backslash key is usually located above the enter key. . . but. . in this case, they decided to enlarge the enter key. There’s no function (Fn) key. So you can’t turn the volume up/down (and other things) with this keyboard. I’ve used a different “washable” keyboard (Logitech K310) which I like much better, though it’s much more expensive. This Kensington has a “well” underneath all of the keys for “stuff” to get stuck in, and under the keys as well. When you rinse it, there are many places where water remains. Made in China.

I had a bluetooth keyboard for quite a while until it decided to not work right. So I decided to go for an old fashioned usb keyboard. I did search for a while until I found this. A good price for a washable keyboard. I haven't had to wash it as described (have not had it long enough) but I do clean it regularly. Still it is a good size keyboard made by Kensington and no more problems with a constant disconnecting bluetooth. My old keyboard was super quiet and I did forget how most usb keyboards make a little noise with the keyboard but that is just what it is. More than happy with it.

Does what it says. If they compete also on comfortableness and make it wireless it would be amazing.

Overall this is an ok keyboard but we found that printing on the KeyCaps is not durable. After 2 years of limited used the keys that are most frequently used have lost much of their print. Magic Marker next ?
