Kensington H3000 Bluetooth Over-Ear Headset, Black

The headset is fine, works great with Teams and Zoom on macOS. The passive noise canceling (PNC) isn't that good - I had a vacuum cleaner in the background and could definitely hear it - though maybe PNC is more for the mic? But you have to pay $200 more for active noise canceling so not a big deal to me. I do like the fact that you can control the red LED recording light indicator manually - you can make it flash, or turn it off turning a recording session - you can't do that with the Jabra headset so if you are on teams, and you don't want the Terminator Red laser look, it can be switched off. Just a heads up: It does NOT come with a Bluetooth dongle like Jabra headsets. It only comes with a female USB-C to male USB-A adapter for the charging cable - so you'll have to buy your own USB BT dongle if your laptop is super old, or you have a desktop PC that doesn't come with BT.

I was unable to use this headset for work, since my work desktop does not have Bluetooth capability. I would only be able to use it with a USB Bluetooth Receiver. I contacted Kensington directly and a receiver is NOT available.

I purchased this product to use mostly for work Zoom and phone calls from home, and for listening to music while working at the computer. At first I wasn't sure if these even had noise cancelling because I can still hear people in the house walking around, dog barking, people doing dishes, etc. There is no button to turn noise cancelling on and off, so I guess it's supposed to be always on? I would not recommend these if you want serious noise cancelling. Also, they make the top of my head sore after wearing for four or five hours. The ear pads are comfortable but not super thick. I do like that the speaker will put you on mute when it is in the raised position. The sound quality is good for what I use it for. So I would say that if you want to wear them for a couple hours at a stretch for desk work, taking breaks to let the top of your head recover, and don't need to totally block out background noise these would be fine.

Product arrived with one side broken ear piece would not stay on the headband. Never had the chance to test it out.
