First foray into TP-Link and their Kasa ecosystem and I am impressed. Used this for outdoor Christmas lights and it worked flawlessly, even exposed to Canadian winter and snow. App is easy to use and it’s very straightforward to add and configure more Kasa products as you buy them. The scheduling feature and pairing with Alexa worked as it should. I also recommend their indoor wall plugs

I have four Kasa devices and they all work great. One switch, two plugs, and an outdoor plug. Easy to set up. Software is easy to use. Integrates well with Alexa.

Excellent quality, easy to connect and configure but TP-Link needs to improve the faceplate bracket by making it longer. The faceplate will not snap on because the bracket, that is screwed on the plug, will be recess inside the wall if the box is not aligned or your drywall guy did a poor job. If you loosen the plug mount screws so that bracket is out of the wall, the plug just moves inward as you try to snap the plate on. I had to buy a replacement faceplate and bracket so that I could install the faceplate easily. The bracket is wider and longer so it sits against the drywall. The replacement bracket mounts on the plug like the original. Original bracket is on the left, replacement is on the right in photo. Note that the new bracket comes with the new faceplate.

I have struggled with complicated, ineffective, and confusing outdoor timers for years! THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING AND FABULOUS! LUV IT! simply plug it in and add to your "smart" products. The TWO independent responsive plugs is also worthy of applaud! How SMART and super effective. Easy to program for dusk to dawn, timeframes, etc. LUV this! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (side note, the "waterproof" is slightly lofty description as it simply faces down and allows water to "run off". Certainly effective, but over time may not be truly waterproof to splashing and/or overall general moisture)
