amazing keyboard. would recommend to anybody. keys are clicky but also quiet. lots of travel in keys. they aren't shallow and also not raised up significantly. customized keys work great. connection via bluetooth or USB dongle work both fantastic. I use with backlit keys on full illumination all day and have had to charge twice since purchasing a month or so ago. ive only charged it scarcely with my power bank so im not sure the battery life duration from a full charge to being completely depleted. either way it is a long time between charges. great value for the money. very sturdy. very durable. feels heavy and quality not flimsy and cheap plastic. volume knob works great with my MacBook Air m4. double click to change songs going forward. hold it down to reverse track selection. thats all I know so far. great keyboard. pair it with the JLab 9 button customizable mouse and work becomes a breeze.

The JLab Epic Keyboard and its companion mouse (used with the single shared dongle) promised a premium, seamless, and feature-rich wireless experience. While the physical design and feature set are genuinely appealing, the core connectivity—the reason you buy a wireless setup—is so fundamentally flawed that it drags the entire experience down to a frustrating three stars. The Upside (Why it gets 3 stars): On features alone, this is a five-star product. The soft-touch keys feel great, the multi-device toggle is incredibly useful for switching quickly, and the Smart Media Knob is a fantastic addition that truly streamlines workflow. The ability to connect both the keyboard and mouse via a single dongle is excellent in theory. The Crippling Flaw: Connectivity Unfortunately, the entire experience is ruined by relentless connectivity issues, particularly when paired with macOS (I use a Mac Mini, and the same fate befell other Macs I tested). The keyboard suffers from constant, unpredictable disconnections across both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz connections. I am forced to perform a reset almost every time I sit down to work. Worse still, sometimes the device appears connected, but the cursor or keys simply refuse to respond. It’s reached the point where I have to keep a dedicated Bluetooth mouse app on my phone as an emergency backup because I never know when the JLab devices will decide to stop working mid-task. To make matters worse, the 2.4G connectivity eventually stopped detecting completely, and the official JLab work app cannot update the devices' firmware without 2.4connection. Conclusion A wireless keyboard must prioritize reliable connectivity above all else. The JLab Epic line offers killer features, but if you can't guarantee a stable connection, those features become meaningless. The instability is a genuine pain point for users, turning what should be a productivity tool into a constant source of technical frustration.

Feels fantastic typing. Wifi/BT both work seamlessly and the on the fly switch for Win/Mac/Android are awesome if you utilize two separate OS devices. Media volume control knob, is chefs kiss. The key binding software is useless outside the Fn keys so if you don’t map those, the “profiles” selection is ultimately useless as well. Good weight but needs a flat surface contacting the full bottom side of the board or you will notice some minor flex. (The case is plastic but doesn’t feel too cheap, the “metal” construction ads refer to is actually just the inner frame). It’s heavy certainly but it’s not the most rugged board I assume if being thrown around. It’s very confident if tossed around on the desk just fine tho. It’s a keyboard, not a construction tool.

Super quite keyboard the mouse is as well. While some might like the reverb of the typewriter sound I don’t. This is great when in meetings no one can hear there typing. It was easy to set the Bluetooth up and if I really wanted to I could use the usb to connect a 3rd. Slim design great color and the back light is nice as well. Battery life has been good. Easy to charge with USB-C cable.

Keyboard is really good. Keys position, keyboard width.. everything favourable.. But i switched on my laptop this morning and the keys were automatically pressing on their own. I had to remove usb and insert again to make it work. This is my day 2 , so i am going to give a try for another day or 2 and if this happens again surely going to return.
