Die Kabellänge ist ca. 5-8 cm zu kurz gewählt. Nach dem Anschluss wurde der Hub nicht sofort erkannt. Erst die andere Auswahl einer weiteren Schnittstelle hat das Problem behoben. Seitdem funktioniert er einwandfrei.

I bought this a few years ago from a local store but i have photos to prove that i do indeed have one and use one. They have two similar models, one with power supply and one without, both showing the device as having a 5-v barrel connector socket for the extra power to be able to attack external hdds. Since i already had a psu, I bought one without a psu as I had hoped to use the psu that i already had. However, it turned out that the psu-less one *does not have a dedicated power connector* despite the product photos of such showing that it is supposed to. That's a grossly misleading product presentation, which is why I feel compelled to give it 1 star and make sure other people know what a sneaky lying company "Iogear" is. Otherwise, it is a very nice device, solid build and works well (despite having the basic inexpensive genesyslogic chip inside).
