Questo prodotto mi è stato fornito nell’ambito del programma Amazon Vine e la mia recensione sarà il più possibile imparziale e veritiera. 📦 Prime impressioni e installazione Ho richiesto questo gimbal perché cercavo qualcosa di portatile, potente e smart per migliorare la qualità dei miei video in mobilità, e fin dal primo utilizzo l’impressione è stata molto positiva. L’accoppiamento con l’iPhone è stato immediato grazie all’NFC, e il sistema magnetico con cui si aggancia il telefono è davvero forte, molto più di un comune MagSafe. In pochi secondi si è pronti a registrare. 🎥 Ergonomia e qualità costruttiva Il gimbal è compatto, leggero ma solido. Si impugna bene, i comandi sono intuitivi e la chiusura automatica quando si ripiega il braccio è comoda. Anche il piccolo treppiede integrato è una trovata intelligente: niente accessori da portarsi dietro o dimenticare a casa. Il bastone per selfie, però, è piuttosto corto: utile per riprese ravvicinate, ma non adatto a inquadrature larghe. 🤖 Funzionalità AI e tracciamento Il vero punto di forza è il tracciamento AI: preciso, reattivo e capace di riconoscere anche più persone in scena. Ho fatto test in movimento e anche in ambienti con altri soggetti: riesce a distinguere e seguire bene chi selezioni. Compatibile nativamente con l’app Fotocamera di iPhone grazie al supporto DockKit, ma dà il meglio di sé con l’app Insta360. Quest’ultima è molto ricca (forse fin troppo all’inizio), ma una volta presa confidenza, apre possibilità creative enormi. ⚙️ Prestazioni generali e compatibilità L’autonomia è ottima: circa 10 ore di utilizzo continuativo, più che sufficiente anche per lunghe sessioni di ripresa. E se serve, può funzionare anche da power bank di emergenza grazie all’uscita USB-C. L’ho provato anche con uno smartphone Android (Samsung S20+): il tracciamento funziona, ma alcune funzioni avanzate dell’app sono limitate o richiedono verifiche di compatibilità. Suggerisco sempre di controllare la lista ufficiale sul sito Insta360. 🎙️ Accessori e considerazioni extra Nel Pro Pack troviamo una comoda custodia, cavetteria e accessori essenziali. Ho usato il gimbal con un microfono esterno (DJI Mic Mini) e non ho avuto problemi, basta fare attenzione a come si monta il telefono per evitare che il ricevitore urti contro il braccio. Unica nota dolente: le istruzioni cartacee sono scarse. Serve scansire un QR code e leggere tutto online, meglio da un altro dispositivo visto che il telefono sarà montato sul gimbal. 📌 Conclusione È un prodotto che mi ha davvero convinto. Compatto, intelligente, stabile e ben progettato. Perfetto per chi crea contenuti in movimento, vlog, video professionali o semplicemente vuole migliorare i video delle vacanze. Se cercate qualcosa di più di un semplice stabilizzatore, questo è un investimento valido.

Era da tempo che desideravo un gimbal tipo questo ma, onestamente, non mi aspettavo che fosse così tanto versatile. Ogni giorno sto scoprendo nuovi casi d'uso, specialmente perché sia l'app Insta360 che YouTube includono moltissimi tutorial per usarlo al meglio. Il primo impatto è un po' "duro" perché c'è tantissimo da imparare: ogni singolo tasto può svolgere tante funzioni a seconda che lo si tenga premuto o lo si clicchi una, due o tre volte. Poi ci sono le varie modalità di funzionamento automatiche gestibili mediante l'app Insta360, e ognuna richiede una certa fase di apprendimento. Mi ci è voluto un solo giorno solo per memorizzare bene i tasti e le varie combinazioni! Superata questa frase di apprendimento iniziano le prove sul campo e lì si inizia a capire cosa significano le varie modalità Auto, Follow, Pan Follow, etc., e come queste possono essere combinate con il blocco dei motori gestito tramite la pressione del grilletto posteriore. La ghiera ruotabile aiuta a controllare lo zoom o la messa a fuoco. Ogni modalità permette di ottenere risultati diversi ed è qui che bisogna usare un po' di fantasia (e di tecnica) per fare video carini. Credo che la funzionalità più incredibile di tutte sia il tracking basato su AI che può essere singolo (un solo soggetto), multiplo (più soggetti in contemporanea) e con il lock in una zona specifica dell'inquadratura. Unita al treppiede incorporato e alla capacità di movimento a 360 gradi, lo rende lo strumento perfetto per le videochiamate, i video log o i video sportivi. In quest'ultimo caso possiamo sfruttare anche l'auto-zoom che garantisce l'inquadratura ideale anche quando ci si sposta. Anche l'app Insta360 richiede un'importante fase di studio, ma una volta compresa consente di fare tantissime cose. Inoltre, include numerosi tutorial e progetti predefiniti che semplificano il montaggio delle clip registrate. È praticamente uno studio di registrazione portatile guidato da intelligenza artificiale. Nella confezione troviamo le istruzioni, il gimbal, il supporto a morsa compatibile con qualunque smartphone, il cavo di ricarica USB-C e la sacca per il trasporto. Probabilmente vale la pena spendere altri 30€ per il supporto magnetico o la borsa rigida per il trasporto. Per il resto direi che sono soldi ben spesi.

I looked at ALL of the competitor's Gimbals in this price range and some that were even much more expensive. This thing WINS HANDS DOWN! I was skeptical as many sources say the tracking won't work with Android phones and to a degree, that is partially true for the regular version but not with the AI Tracker Bundle(AI tracker can also be purchased separately). The "AI Tracker Version" works JUST FINE on my Android and tracking is fast, responsive and reliable. Tracking functions are also available using the S20+ built-in Camera app(which is the best because it is the ONLY app for this phone that will do 4k/60fps and even up to 8k/24fps). I use Discord App for most all of my video conferencing and with the AI tracker module it tracks within Discord during video calls just fine! I have yet to try it with Facebook Messenger,Zoom or Skype etc. but it should work exactly the same way as with Discord which is also a 3rd party app. The Insta360 APP for advanced tracking features and recording special effects is the way to go if you are a content creator and once you get used to the app it is amazing. However, on my phone (Samsung S20+), the Insta360 App will NOT utilize 4k/60fps(4k/30fps max) but it's not a deal breaker. (I use Samsung's built-in Camera App for those frame-rates/resolution as stated above) I can always do other special FX/filters etc. "in post". Insta360 has a compatibility chart of all Android and iPhone models that will show which phones have what capabilities in terms of special functions, resolutions/frame-rates etc. that the Insta360 App can utilize. It's worth a quick google search if interested. As far as WHY I chose this over even more expensive or trusted brands? 1. IT IS THE ONLY smartphone gimbal available on the market today that will do FULL 360° PANNING INFINITELY in both directions! You can run circles around this thing as many times until you get tired and it will keep following you! 2. It is the ONLY smartphone gimbal that has what they call "Free Tilt Mode" which allows you to do "Crane Shots" using a smartphone. Truly brilliant! Kudos to the engineers at Insta360 for coming up with this idea! Watch for other brands to copy this simple but genius function in newer models next year! (Google "Flow 2 Pro Free Tilt") 3. A whole host of other things regarding their App/Special FX etc. I have a feeling Insta360 Flow 2 Pro is going to blow the competition out of the water this year for these reasons alone not to mention it is feels great in the hand, built quality is solid and the price. Wow! I absolutely LOVE IT! I suggest anyone who is looking for a smartphone gimbal to just spend some time Youtube-ing this thing before you make your own decision. There are plenty of "comparison videos" out there to help you decide but I'm sure you will be sold on THIS BRAND/MODEL like I was! (Note: The AI Tracker Unit can be purchased separately if only the Standard Version is available) ALSO! I purchased the "DJI Mic Mini" (1Tx + 1Rx version) SPECIFICALLY for use with this gimbal and it works JUST FINE with the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro! Don't fall for the gimic/misconception that the DJI Mic Mini ONLY works with the DJI brand! The Mic Mini Receiver simply plugs into the USB port on my phone and all I do is slide the gimbal's clamp up a bit to not only prevent it from hitting the gimbal arm but also to help offset/re-balance the phone while it is on the gimbal. Another note, if using the Mic Mini for video conferencing you MUST pair a set of bluetooth earbuds as the speaker on my S20+ would NOT work(could not hear others on a call). I think this is simply to eliminate an audio "feedback loop" and was probably done intentionally by design. Hope that helps! Happy Gimballing! :)
