HyperDrive Next 11 Port USB-C Hub, Portable Travel Essentials and Connectivity Solution for Creators, Video Editors, Photographers, and More

I got this Hyper 8-Port USB-C hub to attempt to improve my mobile setup. I wanted to plug it in and tuck it behind my laptop, then plug everything into it from there: Power, additional monitor, mouse dongle, etc. This was almost doable, except that the USB-C port that is for data does not pass through video. My portable monitor is USB-C only and works when connected straight to my PC, but that means the lone USB-C port on my laptop is then taken up. My dream is still just a dream. The Hub, however, is nice. I've used it for multiple projects where I needed an SD card reader, or needed a few extra plugs. It's a name brand hub, so it's not cheaply made with connectors that will wear out or destroy your cables after a few plug ins. You get what you pay for. This hub is nice enough to justify a higher price, but I guess if I needed display passthrough on USB-C, I'd have to pay up a little more.

No issue so far. Using it for my Dell XPS and all the ports works fine. HDMI does output 4K resolution and the ethernet is able to get up to my internet speed (1Gbps).

My older port was having issues, so replaced it with this. The case feels substantial, not cheap. Initially, I have connected 1 HDMI, network, USB wireless plug for kybd/mouse and a charge cable for my watch. The HDMI cable holds tightly. I like the length on the cable, though a little longer would not be bad for my arrangement. The heat it generates with just network and HDMI surprised me a bit.

I use this in place of a docking station that was no longer working correctly. I just connect one cable from this hub to my laptop and now my monitor, power, webcam, and usb headset, all come over one cable. It also does all of this in a lot less space than other devices.

This is a review for the 4 port USB-C Hub. The build quality is excellent. It's metal and has some dark blue/green subtle color that makes it look sleek. All of the ports fit well. The hub features USB 3.2 speeds, which helps maximize the data and power transfer speeds. I tested it with the Samsung SSD, and it maximizes the read/write throughput so I assume it can go faster. The 4-port version supports 100W PD, which can help power tablets, some laptops, etc. The PD port also works well for data transfer. Overall it's a solid USB-C hub that does its job well. I haven't found any shortcomings.
