it works pretty well...

I really like the idea of wireless. However it does not run my games as well as the cord. I get the gray screen or fall through the floor a few times per session. Also the unit gets pretty hot. Not burn myself but its pretty warm to the touch.

Great if you hate cables

This is a great product for some people, I have mine on a vive pro eye with a face tracker and have no issues with it running together, you WILL need extra battery packs and make sure you mount the antenna up high or you will have lots of disconnects once you get everything aimed correctly I don’t have many issues with it occasionally it will go grey and reconnect within a couple seconds but other than that it’s great, I get about 2 hours of playtime with the default battery and keep 3 spares so they are always ready for those long sessions. It does get VERY hot on the top so you might need to add a fan to keep it from cutting out as well after it heats up

Nice to be disconnected at the umbilical cord

Removing the umbilical cord and going wireless is awesome, smooth frame rates with 99.9% no stuttering and that 0.1% of a stutter is so small it’s hardly noticeable. Now for the bad….battery life, it comes with 1 battery and it dies just under 2 hours of use and trying to find more batteries or figure out what batteries are compatible, good luck, the few I have found has a price tag of $150-$200/ battery. Overall I definitely recommend but keep your sessions shorter or be prepared to plug the umbilical cord back in to finish your session.
