Grandstream GXP1625 Small to Medium Business HD IP Phone with POE VoIP Phone and Device

I use these in the office. It is great that it has an online interface. And many providers have just firmware you can download. I personally don't use the wall wart, but it does work with that if you don't have POE. But cleaner setup with just POE if you have it. Good phone, easy menu. Will definitely buy again

The phone is a good product. The advertisement did not mention it had to come from the US. So, I had to pay 196kr customs duty. Also a power adapter from US to EU connection was not in the package and we had to order separate. So, it is faster delivery and more cost effective to order the phone at a real Swedish shop instead of Amazon.

Expected quality and functionality from this grandstream phone

The comments in reviews about the stand on this phone are accurate: it's a stupid design that allows the phone to tip over backwards at the slightest touch. Very annoying, and enough to make the phone unusable except by the most patient. Trying to install the stand the other way up to provide a slight slop on the phone failed as the stand component is not reversible with any sense of security, making this phone very annoying. Configuring the phone over a Web browser takes a while; the pages to configure are complex with no guide or help easily accessible. The admin pages require someone with deep SIP/VOIP experience. Configuring on the phone is worse. Not impressed with the set up process at all. There's a lot of buttons on the phone, and learning how to use all that's available will take time. Once the phone is configured (which took me several hours, and I know these protocols) the phone works fine, but if there's a power failure extending any time the phone needs reconfiguring. Not impressed, and hard to recommend this phone.
