This mouse was recommended by my physical therapist. It puts your wrist and forearm in a neutral position which reduces the changes of having elbow or wrist strain. It is very comfortable and easy to adjust to using. Highly recommend

Most comfortable mouse I have used, and I have tried both the Anker and the J-Tech ergonomic mice. It's not as accurate as a fancy-pants gaming mouse, but that doesn't matter in an ergonomic mouse.

my hands are small and this mouse is too big for someone with small hands and will cause pain to the hands if your hand is too small. I like the goldtouch brand and think the tail is great attached to this mouse -- but i need to return it because the mouse is too big for me.

I have severe carpal issues and associated dexterity problems. I have tried many vertical mice. The "beaver tail" rest on this mouse, while odd looking, really helped me. Every other vertical mouse I tried required me to lift my wrist and squeeze to move the mouse. The tail, combined with the molded thumb rest, means I can move this mouse without having to lift my wrist or squeeze, which causes me far less stress. I can actually keep hold of this mouse with very light pressure from my thumb and little finger, and the motion now comes from my arm rather than my wrist. I also found the jumbo curved outline of this mouse helpful. My fingers have a permanent curve caused by the carpal, and with other "slimmer" profile vertical mice I'd get a lot of accidental clicks. This mouse's shape moves the primary buttons and wheel just enough to alleviate that. Yes, it looks strange, but for me, it works.
