Works great. Ton of fan and USB connections. Did have some trouble with RAM being recognized, was able to flash BIOS with Q-Flash to fix. But, I don't like the fact the you have to have the gigabyte MB utilities installed to keep RGB turned off. Other than that, no complaints.

This is a great motherboard that has PCIE 5.0 for the GPU, has 4 PCIE 4.0 slots for M.2 drives and has USB 3.2 2x2 and many other great features. I'm sure by the time lots of people read this, the issue will be fixed, but my rev 1.1 board was running bios FE and needed to be updated to bios FG in order to support the Intel 14900k. Now this is where you'd probably expect the easy process of just loading the bios update on a USB stick and using Q-Flash to update. Well, that has worked on so many other boards and products, but in this case, you actually need to unzip the bios update to a USB stick, use your boot settings to boot of the USB stick, you then type "FS0:" and push enter, then "flash.nsh" and push enter. Once it finishes, the system will reboot, go back into the BIOS and go to "Q-Flash", you'll then see the system do the BIOS update. After another restart, you can double check and you should see bios "FG". Once you have windows installed, using "Gigabyte Control Center" you can quickly get the latest drivers for all the different devices.

I like the look, feel and design. It was easy to install the hardware and update the software. Could do with a better program for checking updates, the interface for that kind of sucked, but its not like we need to update the BIOS every Tuesday, so just grab the drivers and updates directly from the site patch it all up and call it a day. Good stuff.

I’ve tried a couple of ASUS mobos and one MSI. I had nothing but problems with drivers and bios issues. Correction, building 2 pcs. The ASUS Rog Strix turned out great, but I had an MSI mobo and 2 other ASUS mobo failures! I was utterly shocked at the issues and ASUS tech support tried to resolve them to no avail! I decided to give Gigabyte a chance! OMG what a smooth install experience wrapping up with a completely seamless driver installation using the Gigabyte Control Center that figured out what I needed and auto installed! It was beautiful and I was at my wits end… so my relief was palpable! Gigabyte gets my business from now on! ASUS has an auto installer feature, but the underlying driver files never successfully installed to properly enable mobo features like LAN, BT, PCI devices! Even their tech support was stumped. Now, I’m just praying Amazon does right bully me on all the refunds I’ve asked for or I am out easily $1000 in parts that were clearly defective! I even provided ASUS tech support ticket numbers to Amazon returns! Go Gigabyte! Im sold!
