I wanted this board cause it was cheap and Am4 compatible it's got a great bios setup and decent size.The only issue others may have is there is only4 SATA slots and one of them which is number three needs a small SATA connector cause it sits right under lane 2. *And the other issue which is mine is that if there wasn't a second m.2 slot I could fit a 3rd 3060ti because it probly would have made one of the pcie lanes move and get more space.but really all I need is a bigger case.

Bought this motherboard to upgrade my sons aging Intel build and bring him up to date with more modern hardware. Basically, I built him a new computer from the ground up. I opted for a Ryzen 4600G with exceptional silicon (actually boosts as high as 6100mhz for short durations). 32Gb of RAM, 1Tb Nvme main drive with a 4Tb spinning dino-drive as mass storage. Ditched the cheapo cooler the 4600G came with for something with a much higher TDP. Using a RX 6650 XT for graphics with a 1080p monitor. This does everything he wants to do. Including live-streaming gaming. He's happy, I'm happy, everybody is happy. That said, my own recent build used a Gigabyte motherboard as well. That is why I used a Gigabyte board for his build. I'm really impressed with the quality of Gigabyte recently. I have no brand loyalty at all. I look around and see who is providing what level of quality for the dollar and go with the one who offers the most bang for the buck. Recently, Gigabyte has been killing it with motherboards.

Great board, but the WiFi 6 was very slow. I swapped boards to aorus model, and wifi was working fine with that one pushing my correct upload and download speeds

TLDR - you need to disable CSM and make sure fTPM is enabled to install windows 11 If you have issue with mouse/keybaord glitching - disable processor C-state in bios - bios update did not fix the usb problem. So I had to get a good motherboard for cheap. Basically an emergency situation. Prime was best option. This ain't it. If it wasn't for the fact I needed my computer working i would have boxed this up and got another brand. Because I got it working, I'll accept my savings and keep this thing. But i cannot recommend this motherboard for a beginner building a pc for the first time. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone honestly. (about me) - I'm an IT professional and I have been working on various states of consumer and some enterprise hardware for the better half of 15 years. This is my first motherboard that gave me loads of teething issues right out the box. Granted windows 11 is a pain to install from the get go but this was the first piece of modern hardware that just made it more annoying than it should be. And here is where things get fun. Even advanced mode, some of the functions are nested in a way that make things more tedious than it should be. Enabling secure boot was one of those. Windows 11 would not install because CSM was enabled.... and then when you disable it, you then see secure boot options. It's clear once you know what the error you are getting exactly..after some research... It was wasn't clear the way things were laid out. That took 1 hour to figure out why i couldn't install win11 by...installing windows 10 and running the readiness check to see what i was missing. Maybe its a flaw on windows for not telling the user why windows 11 installer failed during the initial process booting from the install media......(just a general we can't install on your system message) -- Just when I got clear of all that, i was getting crazy usb keyboard and mouse stutters. a WIRED keyboard required 1-2 key presses to register an input...and WIRED mouse had the same issue where you would moving the cursor and it stuttered. You have to go BACK into the bios and disable C-states and then usb 2.0 ports work normal again... this i have never seen in ANY motherboard I have opened or installed where a power state affects the USB pors causing issues.... during troubleshooting prior to this i rolled up to the latest version of the bios and that certainly didn't change this. I don't plan to overclock or do any crazy heavy gaming, but if i wasn't just determined to figure this out, this would have been a return. So please for the sake of sanity, don't buy this thing. Please spend your money on something else. I got it to work for me but with a level of difficulty I would not expect the average user to work through. Period.

Loved the features (especially the usb c connection) but it the video card slots didn't work so I had to return it. Based on price alone I would try another one in a future build.
