I bought this for my business as a freelance videographer and use it on video shoots. It's great for providing multiple outlets for my lights, sound equipment, and battery chargers. Now my wife wants me to buy another one for when we travel to use in hotel rooms since everything needs constant charging (i.e., cell phones, iPads, fitbits, etc.).

I love this surge protector. I have a bunch of those annoying brick ended plugs that take up 2-3 ports when plugged into a traditional straight surge protector and this offers a great way to get around that. Pleased with the overall quality of the product, the cable is heavy duty and it works as described.

I purchased two units for our mobile DJ audio system.This unit is very well build and heavy. I expect these will last very long time. The only minor issue with this unit's design is cables connected to the front 3-plugs can some time become loose when people walk on near by cables. I have been very careful and only use the front 3-ports as backup. If you are not constant moving around, this would not be an issue. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend it.
