Product died less than 2 years and damaged other components. This is a big letdown as it died just within the first 2 years and kill the motherboard.

Great Power Supply, Quality product, Excellent Packaging. It is very well made and EVGA is a great company to deal with and they stand behind their products if you ever do have a problem. 10 Year warranty is a big plus. I was happy with the cables supplied with this unit. If you have a large case you might want to order some extensions if your looking at mounting it on top and running the wires down through the back. I have a Fractal Torrent case and this is what I had to do. I would have had to do this with any other PSU as well.

Had to ask a refund. Coil whine was too extreme, easily 50 db. It's a beast, really powerful but also big. I had to remove the only HDD tray of 2 hard disks on a MSI GUNGNIR 120R to make it fit. I also had a MSI Z790 Carbon motherboard and a MSI RTX 4080 Ventus OC 3x GPU. All of this was giving the most extreme coil whine I ever heard... Going back to AsRock motherboard and a titanium PSU and I hope there won't be a significant coil whine with this combination... else no more PC until they fixed this coil whines issues with PSU and GPU

I purchased this PSU back in July for a new PC build. I've mostly used Corsair PSUs in previous builds, with absolutely no problems, but decided to try an EVGA PSU this time round as the price was right and the reviews seemingly stellar. The 10 year warranty was icing on the cake. The build was completed and the new PC ran just fine. Then, a few weeks ago, the PSU shut down without warning. Cycling the power switch on the PSU did not revive it. Just to be sure it wasn't some other component in the PC causing the problem, I replaced the EVGA PSU with a spare Corsair 850W PSU, and the PC booted right up and ran normally. I immediately initiated an RMA with EVGA. In the subsequent email exchanges, the tech at EVGA wanted me to go through some troubleshooting steps, like swapping power cables and surge protectors, plugging the power cable into a different wall outlet, etc. None of that worked, so an RMA was authorized. I opted for the "cross-shipment" RMA as EVGA indicated they would provide a prepaid return shipping label, but this option required a collateral deposit which was nearly twice the acquisition cost of the defective PSU. The replacement PSU from EVGA arrived about a week later, but no return shipping label was included. I contacted EVGA and was told they had "just" changed their RMA policy to no longer provide that. When I sent them a screenshot of the RMA confirmation email that unambiguously stated a return shipping label would be provided, they then indicated that they would provide one. The defective PSU was shipped back to EVGA and the collateral deposit eventually refunded. Even though the replacement PSU functions normally (for now), I have lost confidence in the quality and reliability of EVGA products. I was also unhappy with the usurious amount of the collateral deposit and the attempt to weasel out of providing a prepaid return shipping label. This PSU will likely be the last EVGA product I buy.
