Epson FX-890II N Impact 9-Pin Dot Matrix Printer, Narrow Carriage

I wanted a 24 pin. By mistake I bought this one. Very fast. Seems to be very economical. Not too loud. It is written : Operating system: Windows. But it is even easier to install on a Debian linux, even on a Raspberry Pi 4 Os... So I'm very happy about this product. It's a keeper. I will soon test the old esc/p code compatibility. If there is any problem I'll write it down here. It uses a mechanical on/off switch. Then it is possible to print your documents during the night if you leave the printer on, and use an inexpensive IOT electrical outlet to turn on/off your server and your printer via internet... 9 pin quality.

Ordered this for our laser metal cutting machine as a replacement for the Microline 420. Which it claims to replace. Could not get to print correctly on labels. Called Customer Service for Epson and they said they do not support using this as replacement for Microline even though it is in their user's manual and advertised on their site. Returned and they refunded $59.62 less than I paid. No mention of charging restocking fee or anything for return. Considering I paid $52.63 shipping! Will never order an Epson again.
