Epson Expression Home XP-4200 Wireless Color All-in-One Printer

The printer is very nice, it prints with no smears, I haven't checked how much the ink is going to cost, I hope it doesn't end up being very expensive.

The "bundle" purchase shows that this printer needs 212 printer ink. It does not fit, and Amazon doesn't care and neither does Epson customer service. We wasted $58 on the wrong ink, and not happy about it.

Easy set up with wifi direct (smartphone or tablets only). Prints nice and fast, it can also print back to back pages. Printed around 50 pages of documents and initial ink is still almost half full. Only downside is it can't connect to 5G, landlord's router does not offer dual band connections. Good thing I already own a usb cable from my old printer, so buy one if you need to use it with your computer.

Last printer i bought was an HP, crapped out on me after 6 months and i didn’t have the patience to be on hold any longer. Hopefully Epson will last me a year or longer before it decides to go on a work strike. It’s still working at the moment!!

All I need for a home printer/scanner. I needed to replace my old Epson printer which was going out. I like the fact that this new printer has individual color printer cartridges' and that it prints on both sides of paper. Be warned that you should only buy Epson ink cartridges'. I was buying generic cartridge's for my old printer which worked fine for awhile. But the last batch of generic cartridge's that I bought for my old printer from the same company that I had purchased before is what I believe damaged my old printer. The generic cartridge's would not be recognized by my printer even after contacting the generic ink cartridge support. I bought Epson cartridge's but the damage was already done to my printer. So I bought this new printer.
