Epson DURABrite Pro 748 Original Ink Cartridge - Black

I installed the cartridge. It worked for 3 days then stopped. I contacted Epson. I called twice. Each time they said the cartridge was third party despite my sending pictures and the receipt of the cartridge purchase from Amazon. The url linked through directly to the Epson Canada site. I called a third time and only after asking to speak to a manager to discuss why they were ok with a fraudulent site selling their product in their name on Amazon did they agree to send me a cartridge to replace the one that wasn’t working and said it wasn’t third party. I spent 4 hours on and off on the phone. With representatives. It was very frustrating. I have two Epson printers at home and love them. I can’t say enough good things about them. I thought I’d try an office ink jet printer Work force pro 6590 at our church for high volume printing. The cartridge incident was a big disappointment. I’m still waiting for the replacement cartridge to arrive from Epson Canada.

Great ink

No problems with the ink and it fit my Epson 6590 perfectly! Plus the size of ink cartridge inside is more economical.

This purchase was a mistake. Black printing periodically becomes streaky and the print head requires frequent cleaning and alignment. Rectangular tables that print fine on a different printer are sometimes misaligned since installing this cartridge. I won't be requesting a refund because I've used some of the ink already but I won't be buying again.
