Hooked up to 30-year old Harmon-Kardon amp set at Dolby II - Cinema mode. Great low end for a bookshelf speaker for both Cable and an MP3 player. Haven't cranked it up to 11 yet, but sounds great

We recently dusted off our old turntable purchased in 1977. Over the course of the years, the original speakers bit the dust as well as the amplifier receiver. Both needed to be replaced. We purchased the Rockville Bluamp receiver and found these dandy little speakers to go with it. The speakers are 1/4 the size of the original speakers, yet put out a great sound. They are small enough to hide behind a picture, and nice enough to keep in view. I highly recommend this product.

Using for a simple turntable setup (not a top end system) so happy that it gives decent sound quality especially for the price compared to other speaker systems.

If you’re on a budget then these speakers are perfect. They have good build quality and sound amazing. Definitely a good purchase if you’re building an audio setup on a budget

I did a direct head to head comparison between the following speakers: Edifier P12 Edifier P17 JBL Control 1 Polk T15 Moulkey 3way Alesis 7.5 Micca RB42 Klipsch R41-M SingingWood T25 Pyle 6.5" Two/way Fluence Elite high Def 2/way These were hands down the best of the bunch, even better than it's more expensive P17 sibling which outside of fabulous build quality and good looks was sonicly disappointing. The P12 was the only one of the bunch that sounded good right out of the box. My instant reaction was, "wow that actually sounds good." What makes this speaker better than all of the others is simple: a natural balance of bass/ mid/ treble. None of the other boxes managed to pull this off. I just wanted a mini speaker that performed like a normal bigger speaker and not a little computer desktop with false bottom tuning. They have a full sound for background music and pulled out from the wall even suffice as main front speakers-- albeit not for loud situations. These speakers are smooth and comfortable. They have a 'rolled' off top which comes into balance with the covers off, which also gives life to the speaker. I bought this system to use as a miniature full sounding 'travel' stereo when the wife and I kayak in remote locations; it is perfect for that application. p.s. As a professional sound engineer of 35 years, I know good sound. I also know how to put things into perspective-- I have 3 audio systems in the $25K to $50K range. For the record: I am not an 'audiophile'... whatever that means.
