USB-C Cable Charges and Syncs Your Latest-Generation iPhone, iPad and iPod This USB-C sync/charge cable (M/M) connects your iPhone, iPad or iPod to the USB-C port on your MacBook Pro, Windows laptop, car charger or wall charger. It allows you to charge and power your Apple device, while simultaneously syncing and transferring image files and other personal data at USB 2.0 speeds up to 480 Mbps. The cable is backward compatible with previous USB generations, allowing you to use it with older equipment. Bright LED Lets You Monitor Charge Status An LED located on the cable allows you to keep track of your device’s charging status at a glance, letting you know the device is fully charged without having to power it on. A green LED indicates Normal Charging mode. A blue LED lets you know the cable is in Fast Charging mode. The LED turns off to tell you the connected device is fully charged. Note: Fast Charging is supported by iPhone 8 models and later only. Fast Charging occurs when the device’s power is below 80%. When the device becomes 80% charged, charging mode switches to Normal.
