Despite DJI getting ban in the USA, this is an awesome camera you should buy if you'd like to capture precious moments with you family. It's waterproof for the pool, it weights nothing and attaches to your clothing with the included magnetic neckless, and both the video and the sound coming out from it are very good. Lastly, it's very reasonably price (insta360 is asking $450 for its version).

Here has been my experience: Got the product 2 days before leaving country, trusting the brand was well-known and reputable, surely nothing could go wrong. Plugged the little guy in and let him charge for a bit, and sat down to watch TV for 30-45 minutes. Heard a loud beeping noise, and went to check on its charging status, and come to find out, the device has OVERHEATING WHILE CHARGING. I then spent 30 minutes attempting to get the device to cool down (once the alert popped up, the device would not let me turn it off! I tried everything from disconnecting the camera from the body to throwing it in the freezer. Nothing worked. Finally I gave up and went to bed, thinking perhaps this was some user error on my end. Little did I know, this was foreshadowing the 3 hour conversation I would have with tech support the next day trying to get it to work. We tried everything...a major issue was not being able to power the device on long enough to register it with a DJI account to access support features. After exhausting all possibilities, the support team kindly offered for me to send it back to them to have it replaced. As I simply didn't have time before my vacation, I chose to return it for my money back. Now, one could argue that this was partly my fault for not doing research or that I didn't plan enough time for an issue to be resolved. However, I did a huge deepdive on the device (which was brand new at the time), including reddit threads and youtube reviews. The device was simply too new to have that much feedback. Trusting the track record of the company, I went through with this purchase, After doing a deeper dive post-3hr support chat, I realized my device was NOT unusually dysfunctional, but that the overheating was a trademark of this model. I know DJI makes great drones and has an awesome lineup of cameras, but this one has caused me to lose faith in the brand. Sad! Unfortunately, I chose to purchase the one thing DJI has flopped on. This little camera sacrifices a lot for its portability. Major overheating issues of the DJI managed to slip their way through the cracks of youtube review channels too, which makes me question if money was involved or if DJI knew about this and decided to put the product on the market anyway...PLEASE consider before you waste your money!

The DJI Osmo Nano delivers very good image quality for its size and is easy to carry for travel or daily use. The stabilization works well and keeps footage steady even when walking or moving quickly. The autofocus responds reliably and locks on subjects without hunting. The interface is simple to learn and the built in screen is bright enough to use outdoors. Audio quality from the internal microphones is clear for general recording and works well in quiet and moderate environments. The battery life has been consistent and the included accessories make it easy to start filming immediately. For anyone who wants a small 4K camera that is easy to use and still produces high quality results this is a strong option and offers good performance for the size.

EXCELLENT video quality. Lots of welcomed firmware upgrades since I bought the Nano last month which means DJI is keeping up with bugs, improvements and features. Many new features introduced since I bought it. So much so, that I hope DJI gets their suppliment updated to reflect all the new tweaks and features. Just note, that if you have this recording at high bit, 4k 60 in the house with no airflow around the camera like you would outside with the wind, this camera will shut down due to over heating. I imagine DJI will address this a bit with forthcoming firmware updates.
