The DGS-1510-52XMP supports 48 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE/PoE+ ports, and 4 10-Gigabit SFP+ ports. The total PoE power budget is 370W, offering ample power for PoE applications of all types. The DGS-1510 Series is D-Link’s latest generation of SmartPro switches with 10-Gibabit port connectivity, making them ideal for deployment in SME/SMB networks. This series integrates advanced management and security functions that are similar to those of a fully managed switch, but less complex. Available in 16, 24 and 48 10/100/1000 Mbps port models, these switches also include 1G and/or 10G optical SFP/SFP+ ports. Depending on whether linear or fault-tolerant ring stacking is implemented, users can use one or two 10-Gigabit SFP+ ports to create a physical stack. Users can mix any of the DGS-1510 SmartPro models in a single stack to allow simultaneous and easy configuration, management and troubleshooting.The DGS-1510 Series switches are equipped with a complete lineup of Layer 2 features including IGMP Snooping, Port Mirroring, Spanning Tree, LACP, and LLDP. Network maintenance features include Loopback Detection and Cable Diagnostics. D-Link Safeguard Engine protects the switches against traffic flooding caused by virus attacks. The switches also support 802.1X port based authentication. The Access Control List (ACL) feature enhances network security and helps to protect the internal IT network by screening ingress traffic based on MAC or IP addresses. ARP Spoofing Prevention protects from attacks on the Ethernet network that may allow an intruder to sniff data frames, modify traffic, or bring traffic to a halt altogether by sending fake ARP messages to the network. For added security, the DHCP Server Screening feature screens rogue DHCP server packets from user ports to prevent unauthorized IP assignment. switch con caratteristiche PRO per utenti molto esigenti e con approfondite competenze di networking

premetto che per l'uso casalingo da parte di utenti non esperti, questo switch è assolutamente inutilizzabile. la quantità di impostazioni e parametri a disposizione è elevatissima e la maggior parte degli utenti non se ne farebbe nulla. Viceversa se siete esperti in ambito reti, avete un gingillo davvero interessante. Le due porte SFP+ vi permettono di impostare connessioni fibra o rame a 10Gb, magari per dorsali ad anello o a stella tra più switch. Nel mio caso costituisce il core switch layer della mia rete.

Mega guter switch mit einem Nachteil!

Ich habe den switch gekauft da er mit seiner kompakten Bauform sogar für meinem 10zoll Netzwerkschrank geeignet ist (passt nicht zwischen die Schienen, nur generell in den Schrank) Dir Ausstattung ist extrem üppig für so einen kleinen switch und die Verarbeitung war auch tadellos. Trotz der ganzen Vorteile hat der switch einen großen Nachteil, er ist wirklich sehr laut. Ich hab meinen Netzwerkschrank im Vorraum zur Heizung aufgehängt und jedes Mal wenn ich daran vorbei gelaufen bin hat mich das Geräusch gestört. Für ein Büro ist der switch definitiv nicht geeignet!

DGS-1510-28X, the best 24-port 1G/ ***4-port 10G SFP+*** switch out there for the $$$

An excellent SMB or home lab switch! I am using my DGS-1510-28X pair for home LAN 1G & 10G 3-node VSAN 6.7 cluster, home media center + 2 x NAS multi-protocol connectivity. The 1.60.012 firmware is recommended. Also, remember that if you opt to stack these switches [I am not], you lose the last *2* [right to left] 10G SFP+ ports per switch. I am using a 1m 10G DAC cable [DEM-CB100S] as a switch interconnect. Be sure to match OM3/4 fibre cable runs with proper SFP+ card vendor transceivers. I am using 2m Cable Matters OM3 cables [10Gb 40Gb Multimode Duplex 50/125 OFNP Fiber Cable] for my 10G SFP+ target / initiator runs. Properly matched 10Gtek D-LInk - Intel & Mellanox SFP+ transceivers have all worked like a charm for me on 3 ESX 6.7 hosts, 2 Synology NAS units + a Ryzen-class home media PC. One pet peeve D-Link: Why should it take multiple admin guide passes & considerable trial + error to figure out how to enable NTP on a switch? Otherwise, I am happy as a clam with these switches. In fact, after doing some updated offering research, I ended up buying a second switch for 10G port expansion capacity after running an original one for a yr or so.
