Wanted to upgrade my Alienware Aurora to 32gb ram with higher ram speed. I tried the kingston fury 32gb 5600 because someone said it works, but it did not perform higher than the oem 4800. Even flashed every available bios and looked deep into bios setting and Alienware control center. Nothing worked. Someone else said to try this Crucial Ram. I plugged it in and it just immediately worked. No Bios flashing, no AWCC setting changed, nothing. 5200mhz right out of the box. So happy

I installed 4 of these and the workstation motherboard defaulted to 3200. It worked at that speed, and memtest completed without errors. Next I enabled EXPO, I think it was called, the AMD equivalent of XMP (AMD 7800X3D at stock speed, btw). I guess this was supposed to set speed to 5200 and adjust the timings appropriately (42-42-84 at 5200 1.1v is what it is supposedly rated for) , but the machine wouldn't POST. So I reset the CMOS and bumped it down to [****] 1.1v, and it still wouldn't POST. My motherboard doesn't have a quick CMOS clear on the back, and I was tired of pulling out the case at this point, so I settled on [****] 1.1v, and it has been stable at this speed. An extra star for passing memtest, and another half for reasonable price. However, failing at 400MTs less than rated speed at the higher speed's timings isn't acceptable IMO, so I don't recommend this if you are planning on trying to run it at the advertised speed. 2.5/5

I wanted to double the preinstalled RAM for my R15 Alienware AMD system to 64GB. It was just as easy as popping out the old sticks, putting in these new RAM sticks, and turning on the system. Loading into Windows at 64GB RAM with 5200MHz speed with no other configuration needed. Very happy with this upgrade kit!
