Item received was someone’s messily packed return. I purchased a new item, not a used one. So disappointed instead of excited to get going with it.
I purchased it to make my daughters party decorations. I just wish it had more tutorials on how to use it
Calibration is done using letter sized prints. Letter sized prints need a mat. Mat is not included. Incredibly frustrating that they don’t include this (currently) $5 piece.
I have been a fan of this company for a long time and feel like this is some of the easiest of their products to use. It's got all the features and instantly puts you in a creative mindset. For this price point it is endless what you can come up with as far as using this resourcefully as a tool. Marketing and other ways to show off products is a lot easier having a machine like this and customizing items very easily and effortlessly. Granted there are add-ons and other parts and pieces that will enhance the experience but right out of the gate this is just as phenomenal as I would have expected and I am already making the cutest items.
This new cutting machine is the newest one in Cricut's line of products. My wife loves making crafts and customizing absolutely everything under the sun. It works similar to the other Cricut machines if you're already familiar with them. It works on more than 50 types of materials, which I couldn't even think of that many types. You can use your computer to find a variety of templates to use. It cuts very nicely and is quite precise. The only thing that she hasn't tried yet is the foil transfer feature, but you have to by that tool separately from the machine itself. So far we don't have any complaints. They do also a variety of other purchasing package options that come with a variety of tools and materials, but we only got the individual machine to start out.
