It was a nice first fan for my all white build, but I didn't like how it stuck out so I swapped to an AIO. No complaints though, it works perfectly and looks great!

I was looking for an air cooler that looks good, and this was a good choice for a good price. I do slight overclocks, and it preforms well; keeps my Ryzen 5 7600 >50°C in idle and >80°C under load. I got matching Halo² fans, and they’re all pretty quiet; I can’t hear them unless I lean into the PC or the CPU is under load. Mounting the heatsink was pretty straightforward for me. Personally, there was no need for an expensive AIO cooler if this gets the job done, looks good, and is quiet all at the same time.

I have used dozens of the Hyper 12 over the years. I got disappointed with an earlier model where the fan clips basically were clipped into the holes closest to the cpu. If you have a fan that is solid from front to back wholes you had to take a hack saw and cut a notch in the plastic between the holes. For the longest time I used a stock intel cpu cooler, when I upgraded my pc I bought this cooler since my I5 12600k didn't come with a cooler. This cooler is very quiet and very colorful to look at. think I might buy matching system fans for my computer case. Had some difficulty with installation, mostly because I had no clue what I was doing until I looked closely at the instruction manual that came with it. Overall, a very good buy for a CPU cooler.
