These are decent open-ear headphones that somewhat struggle with the sound quality and battery life vs another pair I have. They also only connect to 1 device which can be a pro or con depending on your needs but for me is more often a con than a pro (though I've run into a couple of instances where it could have been a pro). For me, sound quality is pretty important and I'm willing to sacrifice some battery life for a bit better sound, however, these didn't seem to give any more listening time than my other pair while saying they'd last longer. They also aren't much lighter (though if you're wearing them a long time like during a work day, you might notice the difference) than my other pair either, so it feels like they made multiple compromises to cut weight and they are lighter, but not enough to care most of the time. Pretty much I only bring these into play when my other set is dead and I really don't want to pull out my noise-canceling over-the-ear headphones and these collect dust more often than not and I might let my wife have these since she can't have both ears covered at work, but we'll see. They're definitely not a bad product and if you're happy with the okay audio quality from a compact and light package, these might fit your needs and be good for you, but you also might want to look elsewhere if you're looking for something similar, but don't want to completely sacrifice sound quality (though in all seriousness, these type of headphones, for the most part, won't produce the same quality as in-ear or over-the-ear headphones).

Bone conduction performs great. You can hear the sound well, while still hearing the surrounding. Battery life is good for a few hours over three days. I charge overnight so it don't know how quickly it charges, but I cant imagine it take more than a hour. One small issue is the behind-the-head band. When sitting in couch or tall chair and leaning back the band hit the couch and pushes the headphone off your ears. So I guess sit on things where the back of your head does not rest on something/ Other than that this bone-conduction headphones are great. I used them cleaning out my garage, and I could keep an ear out for family and cars etc.

I like to listen to audio books as I work around the yard or take the dog for a walk. These work great for that. They are comfortable and they stay in place perfectly. I have not used them for music and thus cannot comment on their quality for that (I'm not an audiophile so I have no doubt I'd find their use with music to be perfectly acceptable for me). The battery life has been great so far. They charge quickly and last for much longer than my needs. The magnetic charger works fantastic....no need to struggle getting a usb plug positioned correctly...the magnetic strip 'jumps' into place when you get it close. And the magnetic polarity ensures it aligns properly. I had no issue getting it paired with my Samsung phone. Overall, it is working perfectly for my needs.

These open ear headphones by Mercato are even better than the description on the box. It claims to have a wireless range of 30 ft., but in my experience it is twice that. I decided to try these headphones at night while cleaning up after a full house. Figured I’d try the vacuum test first. Put on a movie on my ipad and synced the headphones-very comfortable to wear by the way. Began vacuuming & could still hear movie crystal clear. Volume is easy to adjust up and down with buttons on side of right headphone. Could hear so many distinct little detail background sounds of the movie, more so than I ever get from the tablet speakers alone and could hear them just fine over vacuum. Then I realized I had to put trash out for next day pick up. Tablet was upstairs, but had to go downstairs across yard to put trash out to street—I could still hear the movie & this is about 40 feet away now. I walked down the street to corner stop sign & could still hear everything clearly—I could have kept going to see where the range ended but it was dark out. Great headphones, more so than I anticipated. I actually like that they DON’T sit in ears like earbud headphones. I’m not sure how easy they would be to use with sunglasses if exercising outside, so that might be a drawback for some. The sound quality, however, is better than any other more expensive name brand headphones/earbuds I have used or owned. Money will be well spent for these Mercato headphones, and they are very reasonably priced.

The name and packaging is a little deceptive but can confirm these are not bone conduction technology. I have been wearing a name brand pair for years, and wanted a backup and the price point here seemed perfect, but as an exact match they are not.... However, they do many things right, and for my uses, they will serve wonderfully as a backup. They are light weight, and the part the fits around your ears is lighter and larger than normal. This is to put in a larger audio driver, and because they use standard audio technology, these suckers are LOUD! Because these are directional over the ear, you still can hear ambient sounds around you, but I would be hard pressed to hear anything but what I'm playing at full volume. That said, I live in an environment that is noisy, so the added volume is great to have so I can hear what I am playing and not just everything around me. Battery life is excellent after 4 hours of usage, I'm at 75% remaining, and the included magnetic charger works decently, and ups the water resistance. It says waterproof, but knowing that they are normal speakers, I am not as certain. What I will say is the buttons and charging pad is created in such a way that sweating all over them is not an issue at all. I wipe them down with a paper towel when I'm done exercising and they're just fine. Buttons are very responsive. Over all, these work super well, great for being out on a walk, ruck, run, etc and still be environmentally aware of your surroundings. Definitely a great backup pair to have!
