Cisco CP-7861-K9= 7861 Voip Phone

Das Netzteil muss separat bestellt werden (ca.20 €). Wenn dann das Netzteil endlich da ist, muss das Telefon vor Inbetriebnahme, für das Heimnetzwerk, konfiguriert werden. Dazu wird der Aktivierungscode oder die Servicedomäne abgefragt. Wer das nicht weiß hat verloren. Ich hab’s geschafft. Das bedeutet aber nicht, daß man jetzt telefonieren kann. Um das zu tun benötigt das Telefon nun den Usernamen und das Passwort. Die sagt aber einem keiner, auch nicht der englisch sprechende Support von Cisco. Nach 7 Stunden vergeblicher Versuche habe ich das Telefon eingepackt und zurückgeschickt! Mein Rat - FINGER WEG VON CISCO PRODUKTEN - wenn man nicht genau weiß was man tut oder tun muss!

Ciscos Entscheidung SIP standardmäßig einzusetzen und die Konfiguration per Provisioning durchzuführen ohne unnötige Steine in den Weg zu legen geht für mich auf. Das Telefon integriert sich prima in unsere Anwendungen. Bei den Konfigurationen gilt - kennste einen kennste alle. Sprachqualität ist auch ok, eine etwas breitere Codec-Unterstützung wäre toll, aber das haben viele andere Telefone auch nicht.

The phone is fine and works with our Jive VOIP system, but I was annoyed that the power cable wasn't included. I re-read the Amazon description, and while it didn't explicitly say the cord would be included, I assumed it would be. Wrong! Additionally, when I called Amazon tech support & they reached out to the seller to check in this, the seller hung up on them twice!

I'm sure this is a fine phone, but the pictures led me to believe that the white and grey lines on the right-hand side were a screen. That was totally my mistake. I should have looked more closely at the description on Cisco's website. I just wanted to make sure nobody else jumped to the same conclusion I did.

This phone appears to only be compatible with Cisco servers and does not work with Asterisk and other VoIP software. Since I do not run a Cisco backend I was unable to provision and Cisco confirmed this limitation (after making me purchase a Smartnet contract) I have standardized on Grandstream for my business and am very happy.
