I usually buy HP Enterprise keyboards - but for this install I needed a white keyboard (in a Substerile room next to an OR). Cherry has been around since the start of computers. This keyboard is solid, nice and heavy --stays on the desktop - doesn't slide around. The keys are quiet and have a firm typewriter feel to them. My customer loves this keyboard. The pricing was really cheap ($38). Wish I could've found a good white mouse - the one I got didn't have the feel of true Microsoft mouse-- a little too lightweight.

Was exactly what I was expecting. Has decent enough n-key rollover so gaming isn't a problem. Love it

I was looking for a scissor switch keyboard and this model came up a lot in my research. I can easily recommend this keyboard as an entry-level option. Pros: - Typing quality is incredible; the keycaps are plastic with a rough texture and a concave design. The keys are springy, requiring a bit more force than usual to actuate but nothing easy to adapt to. Once pressed, the keys have a nice tactile, "rebound". It makes typing pleasant. - Quiet: unlike clacky and thocky mechanical keyboards, this one is quiet, not the most quiet but quiet enough for open space offices. - Great build quality: the keyboard itself is made of plastic but has a nice weight to it. - Standard layout with extra shortcuts for calculator: makes it easy to adapt to when coming from other keyboards. Cons: - Wide: unfortunately, this keyboard is big. There is a TKL version but I need the numpad so I need to deal with it. It takes a lot more space on the desk than I'd like and pushes the mouse away from my hand which is less than ideal from an ergonomics perspective. This also makes it harder to fit into my laptop backpack. - Heavy: This can be a pro (see build quality) but is also a con when it comes to portability. - Long USB cable: This gets in the way especially if the USB port is close. This is pushing me towards the wireless version of the keyboard. - No wireless version in Canada: the only wireless option of this Stream keyboard is in a bundle with a mouse. I don't want to pay for the mouse so I have to order the wireless version from Amazon.com... Overall, I recommend this keyboard. If you don't mind the wired version, go with this one. I will be getting the wireless version.
