Factory original so works as you might expect. The major drawback is the PRICE. Three cost of three of these replacement toner cartridges costs more than the cost of the printer.

There are no issues with print quality. I had purchased a set of generic cartridges some time ago and they were terrible. Color was not good and the toner did not affix properly and left streaks on the paper. I have never had a problem with original Canon toner cartridges.

After ruining multiple laser printers with aftermarket toners, I only buy OEM refills (in this case Canon) - always predictable, high quality and no leaks. Wish these were a little less expensive, but better pay than ruin a printer with non-oem products that leak leak leak and streak streak streak.

You really have to go with Canon original toner if you care at all about the print quality. I print for both business and personal use and have tried five different brands of the less expensive toner only to toss them and go back to Canon original each time. The colors are bright, bold and most importantly - consistent. I can print marketing materials, business cards, brochures, text documents and family photos perfectly. Don't waste your time and money with anything else. You bought a Canon printer for the print quality. Why would you use poor quality toner?
