These seem well made. Connections on both ends are good. Haven't used for long so long term durability isn't tested yet but these should work as well as those overly expensive name brand units. Time will tell as being used on 1000W supplies.

I used the cord to rewire a bandsaw. I cut it in half, ran it from the outside of the base to the motor and spliced it together. I used the other half from the switch on the saw down to the base. Now I can more easily disassemble the unit if I ever have to move it. It works great. The cord had a good thickness. It's pliable but not floppy. The outer insulation seemed like nice quality black rubber. The wires were nice and thick and also have good insulation. Both ends fit firmly together with no threat of easily coming apart. I wouldn't hesitate to use this in a standard installation now that I've cut it open and seen what it's like inside.
