I have a lot of USB and other cables that I need to use and store multiple times - in other words, not permanently fixed to a device. These are perfect for that use!

The picture "indicated" an assortment of lengths...I needed a variety...received a 50-pack of small 8" ties...don't need them...not worth $10...not worth sending back..

I've always felt wasteful using disposable cable ties (not to mention that cutting them is often a hassle), so these were a great solution. These are ideal for most small applications, and sturdier than the more expensive velcro alternatives - I bought them to hold together wire storage displays, but they'd also be useful for small bundles of cables, especially since they can be easily undone.

Regular zip ties are very useful, but they cannot be adjusted so you end up cutting them off and throwing them away. These have a release tab that allows you to loosen or remove them so they can be reused. The release tab can be difficult to activate sometimes so they might not be ideal if you had to constantly open and close them, but for temporary use or where you need to make occasional changes they are great.
